Guest Service Agent
The Guest Service Agent is responsible of greeting and providing a warm welcome to guests upon arrival, register guests into the PMS, verify registration, email and credit information, promote the Starwood Preferred Guest program and provide recognition and benefits to all present members. Accept payment for guests accounts both at time of registration and check out. Maintain a house bank and make a deposit and accurate report of receipts daily. Cash checks and exchange currency for guests if applicable. Issue key to and control entrance of safety deposit boxes. Post miscellaneous charges as requested. Answers and directs incoming calls from inside and outside the hotel. Identifies all guest needs and handles their requests. Dispatches Service Express runners and other hotel staff via two-way radio and telephone. The Service Express® Agent responsibility is a back-of-the-house concierge. The Service Express® Attendant responsibility is to implement the response to guests’ requests.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Previous customer service required.
